Old Haafinmanne

Pictured above is Grímas, a very old man, barely to stand or speak, whom I came across in my traveling through Morthal. His is covered in meshes of ritualized scars and tattoos. His eyes gave me pause when I first saw them; his grandson explained that most men of north Skyrim once had such eyes but less are born with them every year. Grímas is a proud Nord of the Haafinmanne group, better known in the Whiteplains as the 'Companions', the Nords from the old tales who spoke mumble magics and wove tongue wires, sadly such techniques are history.
